Last night, I went to a stationery store on the way home. I needed, as one does on occasion, to buy a new notebook and a roll of Japanese washi paper for our next classroom project. I left with the notebook, two new packs of themed post it notes, three sheets of stickers (cupcakes with faces, sparkly snowflakes, lovebirds) and three mini valentines day cards.

London Hallmark Post It Notes, to remind me of the coming 2012 trip to London with Best Friend.

If you were paying attention, you would note that I forgot to buy the washi, which was 50% of the reason I went there in the first place! THIS MUST STOP. I don’t even need so many post it notes. Sometimes, I write fake notes to myself and put them in my diary, just so I can look at them and also, so I can use them and have an excuse to BUY MORE.

Also, this is my sticker drawer,

Yes, these are all mine and yes, I have a drawer. Full of stickers.

Luckily for me, I chose a profession in which having a million sheets of stickers is encouraged - I’m a teacher, not an accountant or a mortgage broker (thank god).

Still, I can’t go on like this. Stationery, you are the devil on my back, but you are so very very sparkly and pretty.
